I have always enjoyed the South Australian Beerenberg jams and chutneys and it seems wherever you go in different stores they have different types.

Recently looking on their website and saw their online exclusive products.

To cut a long story short I thought I would treat us so ordered a pack of jams and a pack of cheese accompaniments and these two lots arrived today.

I have just been sitting admiring them so far and wondering which to open first.

I think I need to find a pot of English Stilton and or French Roquefort Cheese.

That looks like a problem working out which one first. Smiley

Cooked a beef vindaloo curry for dinner.

When I was in Foodland I spied this mango chutney and boy did it go well with the curry. Best I have ever eaten.

May I suggest the Barossa Fresh supermarket at Nuriootpa for your cheese selection.

They have a large selection of soft and hard cheeses.

Having lived the Barossa life for two years now (as of yesterday apparently) it does amuse me when Beerenberg, Barossa Fine Foods and the like top visitors lists.

We have so many small artisan makers who make far better products, happily the Saturday Anagaston markets have a few artisans, the visitor centre has a few as does the aforementioned Barossa fresh.

Oh - the multi-winemaker cellar door "Artisans of Barossa" (https://artisansofbarossa.com/) also has a selection, not to mention its selection of fantastic wines...

Have you been to Kellermeister yet? (https://kellermeister.com.au/) Their lunch platter is good and their reds are quite good - one of their shiraz (I think it was the shiraz) won world's best a few years ago. They are about a 8 or 10 minute drive on Barossa Valley Way towards Lyndoch from the caravan park.

BTW there are 80 odd small vineyard cellar doors in the valley (not including the industrial scale behemoths such as Wolf Blass or Jacob's Creek) - so far our favourites are Schluter Wines at Greenock (the 2018 Shiraz), The Willows at Light Pass (The Bonesetter) and for a mix of great wine, cider (scrumpy), charcuterie and a brilliant view David Franz at Stelzer Road Stone Well. (He is Peter Lehmann's brother).

So far we've only got to about 40 of the 80 cellar doors...

Thanks Col.  Have visited the Barossa Fresh at Nuriootpa.  It puts places like Woolies and Coles to shame.

Yes, the wineries and foodie places are everywhere.  Not sure we will get to too many but having a very relaxing time.  At my age I have to watch my food intake of all good things nice.  Smiley

Also with our two dogs makes it difficult although we accept that.

The quality of these products never cease to amaze me. Lavender in a jam is something I wouldn’t have even tried once. This is beautiful.

Hetty and I went to their factory/shop while in South Australia. It's a huge turnout. Love many of the products they produce.
